Britain’s Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid received the lads’s doubles on the Japan Open wheelchair tennis event.
The highest-seeded pair defeated Argentina’s Gustavo Fernandez and Shingo Kunieda of Japan 7-6 (7-5) 6-4.
Reid will play once more in Saturday’s males’s singles remaining towards Kunieda after beating Hewett within the final 4.
Britain’s Lucy Shuker and Dutch accomplice Aniek van Koot misplaced 1-6 6-2 6-2 within the ladies’s doubles remaining to Yui Kamiji of Japan and Italy’s Giulia Capocci.
Reid versus Kunieda might be a repeat of the 2015 remaining, which the Japanese participant received.
