Tour de Yorkshire: Anna van der Breggen, Katie Archibald & Dani Rowe to race
Olympic champion Anna van der Breggen will race within the Tour de Yorkshire in Could, together with Britain’s Katie Archibald and Dani Rowe.
Dutchwoman Van der Breggen, 28, has received Strade Bianche, the Tour of Flanders, Fleche Wallonne and Liege-Bastogne-Liege this season.
Briton Lizzie Deignan, the 2017 winner, won’t race as a result of she is pregnant.
The 2-day race, which covers 162 miles (260.5km), begins in Beverley on Three Could and ends in Ilkley.
Van der Breggen, who will journey for Boels-Dolmans, received the gold medal within the girls’s street race on the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
Archibald, 24, will journey for Wiggle High5 and Rowe, 27, for the Nice Britain nationwide group.
Rowe received group pursuit gold for GB on the 2012 Olympics, whereas Archibald did so on the 2016 Rio Video games.
